Yes – every new patient has a consultation first. This gives us the chance to properly understand what you’d like to achieve, review your medical history, and recommend the safest and most suitable treatment plan for you. It also gives you the chance to ask questions and decide whether to go ahead, with no pressure.
A £50 deposit is required to secure your consultation appointment. Your booking will be confirmed once payment has been received. The good news is that your £50 is fully redeemable against any future treatment. If you decide not to proceed with treatment, the £50 will instead cover the cost of your consultation, including your personalised assessment and clinical advice.
In some cases, yes — however, this will depend on the treatment, your suitability, and what is discussed during your consultation. At Helen Hunt Medical Aesthetics, we take a safety-led and personalised approach to treatment. Wherever possible, we encourage patients to use their consultation as an opportunity to discuss concerns and explore treatment options before deciding. That said, for certain treatments, same-day treatment may be possible if your practitioner feels it is clinically appropriate.

A £50 deposit is required for consultation bookings to secure your appointment. The £50 deposit is fully redeemable against any future treatment. Where a patient chooses not to proceed with treatment, the deposit will instead cover the cost of the consultation itself.
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, your deposit may be retained and a new deposit may be required to rebook. Missed appointments may result in a £50 fee being applied before a further booking can be made. We understand unexpected situations can arise and will always aim to approach individual circumstances fairly.
Of course. Many patients like to bring a friend or family member, especially for their first visit. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure there’s space.
We offer a wide range of treatments including: anti-wrinkle and muscle-relaxing injections, dermal fillers (lips, cheeks, chin, tear troughs, temples), skin boosters and Profhilo, polynucleotides, bio-stimulators (Radiesse), HIFU (non-surgical lifting), radiofrequency microneedling, advanced facials and skin peels, fat dissolving and vein treatments, mole checks, women’s health, HRT and hormone blood testing, and wellbeing injections. Most treatments are very well tolerated. We use fine needles and, where appropriate, numbing cream or anaesthetic within the product itself. Your practitioner will always walk you through what to expect and check in with you throughout.
This varies depending on the treatment. Anti-wrinkle injections typically last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers generally last 9–18 months. Skin boosters and Profhilo are usually maintained every 6 months. Longer-term treatments like HIFU and bio-stimulators can last up to 12–18 months. We’ll give you a clear idea of what to expect at your consultation.
Most treatments have little to no downtime, though you may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising for a few days. We’ll provide full aftercare advice and are always available if you have any concerns afterwards.
Absolutely – we welcome both male and female patients, and offer treatments tailored specifically to male anatomy and preferences.

Most aesthetic treatments aren’t recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We do, however, offer a pregnancy-safe “WOW I’m Pregnant” facial, and are always happy to advise on what’s suitable. Your safety – and your baby’s – always comes first.
We offer a complimentary review after most treatments so we can check how you’re healing and, where appropriate, top up or adjust. If you have any concerns at any point, please get in touch – we’d much rather hear from you so we can help.
