How we can Help

Teeth grinding and jaw clenching — known as bruxism — often happen unconsciously, especially during sleep or times of stress. Over time they can lead to jaw tension, headaches, facial pain and even damage to the teeth. If you wake with a tight, aching jaw or morning headaches, this treatment can bring real relief.

We use anti-wrinkle injections (botulinum toxin) placed into the masseter — the strong muscle at the angle of the jaw. By gently relaxing this muscle, it can no longer contract as tightly, which eases involuntary grinding and clenching. As a natural bonus, softening the masseter can also create a slimmer, more oval jawline over time.

At Helen Hunt Medical Aesthetics, the treatment is quick, comfortable and carried out by experienced medical professionals. We’ll always start with a consultation to understand your symptoms and make sure it’s the right approach for you.
