Your consultation and treatment journey is led by Caroline, our Laser Therapist, who specialises in laser and IPL treatments and has undertaken specialist training in our new UltraLUX PRO technology.
Our new UltraLUX PRO brings 12 advanced treatment applications together in one platform, allowing us to offer a wide range of highly personalised face, skin and body treatments.
UltraLUX PRO includes pre-programmed settings based on Fitzpatrick skin type, alongside professional manual controls, allowing treatment parameters to be carefully selected according to your skin, treatment area and individual needs
Every laser and IPL journey at Helen Hunt Medical Aesthetics begins with a dedicated consultation and personalised patch test. This important first step allows us to understand your skin, your concerns and what you would like to achieve, while making sure your chosen treatment is both safe and suitable for you.
During your consultation, Caroline, our Advanced Laser Therapist, will review your medical and skin history, assess the area you would like treated and talk you through the options available using our new UltraLUX PRO technology. You’ll receive honest advice about the treatments most suited to you, the number of sessions you may need, expected results and costs — with absolutely no pressure to proceed.
We chose UltraLUX PRO because its versatility allows us to treat a broad range of skin, hair and body concerns while tailoring treatment to the individual.
The platform combines technologies including IPL, SHR hair reduction, radiofrequency, ultrasound, sonophoresis and specialist laser applications, giving Caroline the flexibility to recommend the treatment — or combination of treatments — best suited to your concerns.
We can help with: Hair Reduction, Pigmentation, Redness & Vascular Concerns, Skin Rejuvenation, Acne Management & Skin Tightening.
Caroline is our dedicated Laser Therapist, specialising in laser and IPL treatments and leading the introduction of our new UltraLUX PRO technology at Helen Hunt Medical Aesthetics.
Warm, professional and caring, Caroline takes time to really understand what each patient would like to achieve. She is passionate about delivering safe, natural-looking results and personalised treatment plans, while making sure patients feel comfortable, informed and looked after throughout their treatment journey.

Laser and IPL are powerful, medical-grade treatments, and everyone’s skin responds a little differently. A consultation lets us check the treatment is right and safe for you, while the patch test shows us how your skin reacts so we can tailor the settings. It’s an important part of treating you safely and getting the best results.
We apply the laser or IPL to a small, discreet area of skin to see how it responds. Most people describe the sensation as a quick, warm pinch — a little like the flick of an elastic band. It only takes a few moments.
We leave a short gap — usually a minimum of 48 hours — so we can be sure your skin has reacted well before your first full session. Your practitioner will confirm the timings with you.
Ideally, avoid sun exposure and fake tan on the area in the couple of weeks beforehand, and come with clean skin, free of makeup or products on the area to be tested. It’s also helpful to bring a list of any medications you take.
That’s absolutely fine — you don’t need to know. Part of the consultation is helping you understand your options and, if it’s right for you, recommending the most suitable treatment for your skin and goals.
Of course — we completely understand wanting an idea of costs before booking.
As many of our treatments are tailored to your individual needs, pricing can vary depending on the area being treated, the product used and the outcome you are hoping to achieve.
You can view our current price guide online, which gives a helpful starting point for many of our treatments. However, for more personalised advice, we would always recommend a consultation so we can discuss your goals and recommend the most suitable options for you.
If you’re unsure where to start, please do get in touch — our friendly team are always happy to help guide you in the right direction.
