How we Can Help

Using the UltraLUX PRO system, ultrasound is applied to the fatty layer beneath the skin, where it helps break down stubborn fat cells that the body can then naturally clear through the lymphatic system. Radio frequency light then gently warms the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, helping the area look firmer and smoother after treatment.

It’s important to be honest here; this isn’t a weight-loss treatment that replaces healthy eating and regular excercise. However, for people already close to the shape they want, this can help with overcoming that final hurdle.

Results build gradually over a course of treatments and last best when supported by a stable weight. Your practitioner will talk through what’s realistic for you and put together a plan with a clear number of sessions and a clear cost – If we don’t think it’s the right treatment for you, we’ll say so and suggest something that is.

FAQs

No — and we’d always be upfront about that. Ultrasound body contouring is designed for localised, stubborn pockets of fat in people who are already at or near a stable weight. It won’t drastically reduce your weight, and it isn’t a treatment for obesity. What it can do is help reshape specific areas that haven’t responded to diet and exercise.

Most people find it very comfortable. You’ll hear a faint buzzing sound during the ultrasound phase, and the radio-frequency treatment feels like a warm massage moving over the skin. There are no needles and no anaesthetic, and most patients find the session relaxing.

This depends on the area and on what you’d like to achieve. A course of six to ten sessions, spaced around 7–10 days apart, is usually recommended. Your practitioner will give you a clear plan and cost at your consultation, so there are no surprises.

None. The skin may look a little pink and feel warm for an hour or two afterwards, but you can go straight back to work or your normal routine. We’ll ask you to drink plenty of water in the days following treatment to help your body clear the treated fat cells.

The fat cells broken down during treatment are cleared by the body and don’t return in that area. However, the fat cells that remain can still enlarge, so results are best maintained with a stable weight, a balanced diet and regular movement. Some patients choose occasional maintenance sessions.

Not always. It isn’t suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with a pacemaker or certain metal implants, and there are some medical conditions and medications that would mean we’d recommend a different approach. This is exactly what your consultation is for — we’ll check everything thoroughly before recommending treatment.

Of course — we completely understand wanting an idea of costs before booking.

As many of our treatments are tailored to your individual needs, pricing can vary depending on the area being treated, the product used and the outcome you are hoping to achieve.

You can view our current price guide online, which gives a helpful starting point for many of our treatments. However, for more personalised advice, we would always recommend a consultation so we can discuss your goals and recommend the most suitable options for you.
