How we can Help

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a beautifully natural treatment that uses your body’s own healing power to rejuvenate both skin and hair.

It works by taking a small sample of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets — the part rich in natural growth factors. This platelet-rich plasma is then reintroduced into the area being treated, where it stimulates cell renewal, boosts collagen and encourages healthy regeneration.

One of the things we love about PRP is how versatile it is. It can be used to refresh the face, brighten tired under-eyes, rejuvenate the neck, décolletage and hands, and stimulate the scalp to help restore thinning hair. Because it uses your own blood, it’s a wonderfully natural option. Every treatment begins with a consultation, and a numbing cream keeps you comfortable throughout — so you’re always in safe, expert hands.

FAQs

PRP is suitable for most people looking to improve the appearance and quality of their skin or hair. A full, thorough consultation is completed before treatment to assess suitability.

Not at all — PRP is great for the face, neck, décolletage and hands, and is also used to promote hair growth.

PRP is wonderfully versatile. It’s commonly used on the face, under eyes, neck, décolletage and hands to rejuvenate the skin, and on the scalp to help with thinning hair. We’ll discuss the best approach for you at your consultation.

Yes — when used on the scalp, PRP stimulates the hair follicles to help restore your hair’s natural fullness and vitality. As with all hair treatments, results vary from person to person, and a course is recommended for the best outcome.

PRP is a low-risk procedure that doesn’t usually cause side effects. As it involves a small blood draw, please make sure you’re well hydrated and have eaten beforehand.

A course of two treatments is usually recommended to start, around one month apart, followed by a maintenance treatment roughly every six months.

We take a small blood sample, spin it to concentrate the platelets, then reintroduce the plasma into the treatment area. We apply a numbing cream first to keep you comfortable.

You’ll typically start to see visible improvements within a few weeks as your skin and hair respond to the rejuvenating effects of PRP.

We use an anaesthetic cream for the injections, making it a comfortable and quick procedure.

Continued improvement is expected, with a maintenance treatment recommended every 6–9 months.

After your consultation, a small blood sample is taken and spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets. The concentrated PRP is then injected into the treatment areas.

There will be small bumps from the injections on the day usually gone by the next day.
